The intervals ONE physician is available for on ONE local date.

Weekly rules first, then dated open exceptions added on top, then dated block exceptions subtracted from the union — blocks therefore always win. A whole-day block clears the day outright; a whole-day open offers the full 24 hours (the clinic's lead time and horizon still apply).
